You Deserve to Feel Great. I’m Here to Help.

My Story

I suffered from a dysfunctional relationship with food and my body most of my life. In my early years I was a horsewoman, riding, showing and winning across the East Coast. But my weight overshadowed the successes. In fact, my weight overshadowed EVERYTHING.

“It ruined my life,” says Sally “but I kept going, I kept getting back on the horse. Finding and sorting what worked and what didn’t. Oh, and by the way, hating myself in the process.”

In 1985 I joined a 12-Step Recovery program, focused on food, after completing an 8-week inpatient treatment program for bulimia at Rocky Mountain Hospital. Treatment and 12-Step Recovery were an eye opener. I began to understand how the weight was about me, my life, my behavior, my past, my beliefs and ultimately MY RESPONSIBILITY. It wasn’t about dieting; it was about how I felt about myself.

Again, I metaphorically got back up on the horse. The trail and the quest didn’t stop there. I read a book called Thin Within. Now THAT was where I wanted to be. I wanted to live like a naturally thin person.

I worked with those tools and continued to fall off and get right back up on the horse. Fail, learn, and try again. Eventually, I got on the horse and stayed on the horse. I found my happy size and found peace of mind. BUT it wasn’t just about my perfect size. It was about so much more…It was about changing my inner beliefs, my thoughts about myself and others, it was about acceptance. It was a life change and creation of a new me…a me that I liked!

In 2015 I enrolled in Touched by a Horse – EGCM (Equine Gestalt Coaching Method) program, learning to be an Equus Coach. There I decided to design my own program – incorporating ALL the tools I have learned and partnering with the horses for the healing.

Along the trail I was introduced to Tapping; “A wonderful tool that helps with food cravings and aids in so many other areas of healing.” After my certification with TBAH-Equus Coaching, I found Meryl Hershey Beck and SourceTapping®. After completing the training, I am now a Certified SourceTapping Practitioner. I combine Equus Mentoring with SourceTapping to help women find a new relationship with food, their bodies and themselves.
